1. デザインチームは毎週二つの会議をこなす。ひとつはいろんな制約を無視して、自由に発想するブレインストーミングだ。Lopp のことばを借りれば「クレージーになる」（go crazy）。またこれとは別に、その対極ともいえる生産会議（production meeting）を定期的に開く。こちらでは、この途方も無いアイデアをどうやったら実現できるか、デザイナーとエンジニアが一緒になって細部まで見極めるのだ。
